  20. Hi there. I finally got my copy of LW4 (Intel) last weekend. But as a   
  21. total newcomer to the world of LW modelling, I have found that the   
  22. tutorials included in the user guide were ok, but they left me wanting a   
  23. lot more. (I feel they have only just scratched the surface of what LW   
  24. can do). So does anyone know of any books, magazine etc available in the   
  25. UK that might help me.

  99. I'm new to the Flyer world since I just got one and now have a few newbie

  107. 1st question:

  109. I'm wanting to render out a LW anim as a Flyer clip.  Unless I'm missing
  110. something, I couldn't find anything on the Record panel that would allow me
  111. to do this.  I would assume you would use Serial Recording, but in the
  112. requester, instead of 'ser:', do you replace it with 'FA0:' to indicate a
  113. Flyer drive?
  114.  
  115. I've searched the manual and couldn't find anything about this, but I
  116. thought I had read somewhere (either on this list, in a mag, or somewhere)
  117. that this could be done.

  120. 2nd question:

  122. When rendering out a Medium Resolution (overlay or preview) anim, a lot of
  123. times I get the dreaded 'Too much motion in frame ##' message.  I've read in
  124. the manual about this and know why it's happening, but I'm just wondering
  125. how you all get around this problem.  Sure, I can use Low Resolution, but
  126. the anims just don't look as good.  Does doing what I'm trying to do in
  127. Question #1 get around this problem?
